Save the date to drop off unwanted and unused medications! National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is on Saturday, April 27, 2024. This day aims to prevent unwanted, unused, and expired medications from getting into the wrong hands, thrown away, or flushed down the toilet by encouraging residents to use safe and secure medication disposal options.
The work is never done. We must work together and find ways to solve the challenges that our communities are facing. We, at Community Connections, Inc., are honored to be one of six agencies that are poised to make a difference.🌟 West Virginia has developed a prevention infrastructure to implement and support prevention efforts in the state. 🌟Prevention Lead Organizations are located in six regions throughout the state, and they provide services such as ▶️ information dissemination, education, alternatives, problem ID and referral, community-based processes, environmental strategies, and more.
